The Cavite basketball scene
Cavite's basketball scene is one of the densest in CALABARZON. Bacoor, Imus, and Dasmariñas alone run dozens of barangay summer cups every year, and the corridor north toward GMA and south toward Tagaytay carries a strong school and corporate league culture (De La Salle Dasmariñas anchors the school side; the EPZA and CEZA industrial estates anchor the corporate side). Most of these leagues still track stats by hand because NCR-priced tools never made sense for a barangay budget.
