§ Legal
Terms of
service.
Last updated: April 24, 2026.
1. Who we are
ArcStat ("we", "us", "the service") is a basketball league stats platform operated from Manila, Philippines. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account. Don't share credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, email shoot@arcstat.app immediately.
3. Your content, your data
You own your league's data — teams, players, schedules, box scores, photos. We don't sell it. We don't train AI models on it. You can request a full export or full deletion at any time.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on your league's public page (if you choose to make it public), store it on our infrastructure (Supabase / Vercel), and use it for the operation of the service. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account, except for backups retained on our retention schedule (see Privacy Policy).
You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload, including any team logos, player photos, or league branding. If a third party (player, parent, sponsor, league authority) requests removal of content directly from us, we may remove it after a reasonable notice to you.
4. ArcStat's intellectual property
ArcStat, the ArcStat logo, the “Broadcast” design system, our codebase, and all editorial copy on marketing pages remain our exclusive property. Nothing in these terms grants you a license to use the ArcStat name, logo, or marketing assets in your own materials, except (a) to identify ArcStat as the platform powering your league and (b) for authorized press use covered by our press kit.
The Elite-tier “custom branding” feature lets you replace the ArcStat mark on your public league page with your own — that does not transfer ownership of the ArcStat mark to you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Upload illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
- Impersonate other leagues, teams, or players.
- Scrape or republish other leagues' data without their commissioner's permission.
- Attempt to disrupt the service for others (load testing without prior approval, brute-force attempts, automated bot signups).
- Use the service to violate any applicable law, including the Cybercrime Prevention Act (RA 10175) and the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).
6. Billing
Paid plans are billed annually in Philippine Pesos. Refunds available within 7 days of payment. If your plan expires without renewal, your league downgrades to Free; data is preserved (photos for 30 days, then purged).
7. Termination
You can cancel any time by emailing us. We can suspend an account that violates these terms — we'll explain why. Data is preserved for 30 days post-suspension before deletion.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArcStat's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) PHP 1,000.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or business interruption — even if we were advised of the possibility. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, statute) on which the claim is based.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ArcStat harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) content you upload or publish through the service, (b) your violation of these terms, (c) your violation of any applicable law, or (d) your infringement of any third party's rights (intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or otherwise).
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in Metro Manila.
12. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control — natural disasters, government action, network outages affecting upstream providers (Supabase, Vercel), pandemic, or other events of force majeure.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
